Senate declines competence a CSM complaint on an alleged Antena 3 campaign, refers to CNA

Romanian Senate, via its Culture and Media Commision, declined its competence on an alleged Antena 3 campaign signaled by Romanian Supreme Magistrature Council and refered to CNA as the institution in charge to make decisions in this kind of matters.

Romanian Senate declined its competence after CSM demanded verifications over a possible violation of justice’s independence by Intact media trust that, via Antena 3, started “a supported and aggressive campaign” against “some judicial institutions and some magistrates.
